Technology is both a blessing and a curse. In this case I’m going with the former. The type of technology that would have cost you tens of thousands of pounds a decade or so ago, comes as standard in your smartphone.
I live on a small rise in the land in a suburban enclave in Glasgow. It gives me a great view to the West and the setting sun, which settles down for the night that little bit further to the right as the days get longer.
It requires a wee bit of patience, but the playback always reveals something different. In this one the contrails of transatlantic passenger jets cut across picture at just the right angles and remind me of what lies beyond the immediate horizon.
